No. 07/2025) inviting online applications from eligible candidates for various Group-B, Group-C, and Group-D posts in the Additional Director General of Police, Prisons, Punjab, Chandigarh. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 500 vacancies for Assistant Superintendent, Warder, and Matron positions.

Eligible Criteria
Educational Qualification: Varies by post. A degree for Assistant Superintendent and 10+2 with Punjabi at Matric level for Warder/Matron.
Age Limit: Candidates must meet the specified age criteria as of 01.01.2025, with applicable relaxations for reserved categories.
Punjabi Language: Candidates must have passed Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject at the Matriculation level for all posts.
Physical Standards: For Warder (Male) and Matron (Female) posts, candidates must meet the prescribed physical measurement standards (height, chest for males, height and weight for females, and vision).
Domicile: Only Punjab residents are eligible for reservation benefits. A valid domicile/residence certificate is required at the time of counseling (not older than 5 years).
Disability: Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are not eligible for Warder and Matron posts as per the notification.
Exam Pattern
The written examination will be an Objective Type Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) test.
Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in the Punjabi language paper (Matriculation level) which will be a qualifying nature test.
